Day two saw Joseph Harding and Cameron Ellis in action again. Cameron started the day with the high jump finishing tenth with a jump of 1.70.
Cameron and Joseph were joined by another teammate Joe Fischer in the long jump all three made the final cut, resulting in first place for Joseph Harding (6.72). Throughout the competition it looked like Joe Fishcher’s first round jump of 5.89 would take third place, but in the last round Decorum’s Josh Woods leapt 6.45 pushing Joe down to fourth. To round off the results Cameron Ellis finished in fifth place with his best jump of the day 5.74.
There was a silver medal for Kiera Bainsfair in the U17 womens 400m. She won her heat in 59.68, she then went on to finish second in the semi and second clocking 60.72, her fastest time of the day came in the final where she was just beaten into second by Orion’s Shammah Sowah (59.04) Kiera ran 59.47 to finish second.
